Day 31 Psalm 134:1-3

A Song of Ascents.
1 Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD,
who stand by night in the house of the LORD!
2 Lift up your hands to the holy place
and bless the LORD!
3 May the LORD bless you from Zion,
he who made heaven and earth!

Reflection: Dear brothers and sisters, today marks the conclusion of our church’s month of thanksgiving and month of praise. Has your understanding of thanksgiving and praise grown deeper than before? And in practice, have you taken another step upward? May we all become those who, even in the night, still stand in the house of the LORD—lifting our hands to Him and blessing His Name, like the servants of the LORD described here. May our thanksgiving and praise to Him never cease. And may the LORD, who made heaven and earth, accept your praise and bless you from Zion!

Psalm 150:1-6

1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Reflection:
Today, let us praise the Lord! We are called to praise Him everywhere—in God’s sanctuary and in the heavens He has made! We praise Him for who He is and what He has done—for His mighty deeds and His excellent greatness. Let us use every means possible—all kinds of instruments, all kinds of voices, and even dance—to praise Him. And let us call upon everything that has breath to join in praising the Lord! Hallelujah! Psalm 149:1–5

1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints!
2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!
3 Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!
4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.
5 Let the saints exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds!

Reflection: Today, let us lift up a new song to praise the Lord! Let us rejoice because of our Creator, and let our hearts dance with gladness before God—because the Lord delights in His people! Even more wonderfully, God adorns us with His salvation—through Jesus Himself—as a crown of glory. Let us shout joyfully to God in our own homes, declaring: “Hallelujah!”

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights!
2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!
3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars!
4 Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord! For his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.
14 He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the Lord!

Reflection: Today, let us praise God’s glorious creation! Whenever we behold the wonders of nature, we cannot help but marvel: Who am I, that God cares for me? The sun, the moon, and all the stars of the universe praise God’s power and glory, for His majesty is above the earth and the heavens!

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 146
Zec. 9-10
Heb. 9

Day 27 Psalm 147:1-3, 10-12

1 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

10 His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man,
11 but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.
12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!

Reflection: Today, let us praise God for His building work! He Himself builds Jerusalem—His church—and gathers us together to heal and bind up our wounds. The world may admire strength and speed, but our God delights when we come to fear Him and to hope in His steadfast love and mercy. Come, let us all sing of God’s goodness, for words of praise are fitting! Hallelujah!

Praising Scripture - Dec 26

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 145
Zec. 7-8
Heb. 8

Day 26 Psalm 146:1, 5-10

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul!
...
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever;
7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free;
8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
10 The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!

Reflection:
Psalms 146–150 are known as the “Hallelujah Psalms,” with “Hallelujah” meaning “Praise the Lord” in Hebrew. We have countless reasons to praise the Lord! Today, let us praise Him because He is our help, because He executes justice on our behalf, opens our eyes, and protects and upholds us. Zion! God’s people! Our God will reign forever and to all generations. Even thousands of years from now, we will lift our voices before His glorious throne, singing: “Hallelujah!”

...
7 祂為受屈的伸冤,賜食物與飢餓的。耶和華釋放被囚的;

Praising Scripture - Dec 24

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 143
Zec. 3-4
Heb. 6

Day 24 Psalm 43:3-5

3 Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!
4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Reflection: A life and service without God’s light and guidance can leave our souls heavy and restless. To break through such spiritual heaviness, we must come before God, lifting our voices in praise and calling on His name. Prayer and praise act like spiritual wings, carrying us to God’s holy mountain and dwelling, elevating our perspective toward the heavenly. Each time we praise aloud, it is a spiritual declaration of victory: “God is the glory of my face.”

Day 24 詩篇 43:3-5

Praising Scripture - Dec 23

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 142
Zec. 1-2
Heb. 5

Day 23 Psalm 63:1-4

1 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and your glory.
3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.
4 So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Reflection: David, in the wilderness, did not wait until the crisis passed or life became smooth to praise God. He lifted his voice in the midst of danger and deprivation. As one who truly praises God, he had experienced the power of praise firsthand—when he played his harp, the evil spirits troubling Saul were driven away. Praise is not only pleasing to God, but it is also what we need. It draws us straight to God’s throne, for God rests upon the holy praises of His people. In every dry and weary place, our heartfelt worship can connect us to His presence and power.

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 141
Hag. 1-2
Heb. 4

Day 22 Psalm 57:7-11

7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!
8 Awake, my soul! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake early!
9 I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
10 For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

Reflection: When David fled and hid in the cave, he composed this psalm of praise—“Do not destroy” serves as a reminder not to harm God’s anointed or let difficult circumstances become our destruction. Through this song, he reminds himself not to despair, but to encourage himself: “My heart is steadfast, my mouth sings, my soul awakens; I will give thanks among the peoples and sing praise among the nations.” Because of God’s steadfast love and faithfulness, I choose to trust Him and bear witness to His glory, letting my life reflect His majesty in every circumstance.

Day 21 Psalm 13:3-6

3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; give light to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.
5 But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Reflection: In the midst of hardship and exile, David bends his knee and pours out his struggles, grievances, and pain before God. Yet what is even more precious is that he does not remain in despair. He chooses, as always, to rise, lift his hands, and lift his voice in praise to the Lord, declaring His goodness, steadfast love, and faithfulness.
Though his circumstances may seem unchanged, his heart is at peace, and his mouth is filled with praise. A life renewed in strength can soar like an eagle, carrying you above the difficulties and discouragements of your environment.

Praising Scripture - Dec 20

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 139
Hab. 3
Heb. 2

Day 20 Psalm 84:1-7

1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
3 Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise!
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
6 As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion.

Reflection: Zion is the dwelling place of God, the place where His throne is established. It is a source of abundant life and a manifestation of victorious power! I cannot help but exclaim: “O Lord of hosts, how lovely is your dwelling place!” I desire to be among those who draw strength from the Lord, who not only long for the highways of Zion in their hearts but also walk faithfully along them. Even though this path may lead through the Valley of Baca, God can turn the valley into springs of life, and His blessings, like the autumn rain, will cover the entire valley.

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 138
Hab. 1-2
Heb. 1

Day 19 Psalm 27:1-6

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall.
3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.

Reflection: Yes—the Lord alone is my light, my salvation, the stronghold of my life, my strength, and my victory. Therefore I say: One thing I have sought, and I will continue to seek—that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold His beauty and to inquire in His temple. May my life be one of joyful worship in His dwelling place, gladly offering sacrifices of praise, willingly following the Lord along the path of the cross, and continually singing to the God who loves me.

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 137
Nah. 1-3
Phm. 1

Day 18 Psalm 103:1-6, 11-12 (ESV)

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

Reflection: When I consider myself—one born in sin, living in sin, and dead in trespasses—the wonder becomes even greater: the one and only true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, willingly forgave all my iniquities. Through the blood and sacrificial death of the Son of God on the cross, He redeemed my life from destruction. He crowns my years with His steadfast love and mercy, and satisfies me with the precious life of Christ, so that my soul is truly fulfilled. My heart cannot help but bless the Lord! I long to fear Him, love Him, and respond to His immeasurable love—higher than the heavens, deeper than the seas. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed my transgressions from me!

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 136
Mic. 6-7
Tit. 3

Day 17 Psalm 66:1-8

1 Shout for joy to God, all the earth;
2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.
4 All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.”
5 Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.
6 He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him,
7 who rules by his might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations— let not the rebellious exalt themselves.
8 Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard,

Reflection: Our God is the One who is enthroned upon the praises of Israel. Whether we are on the mountaintop or in the valley, whether in the brightness of day or in the darkness of night, we are called to praise Him in faith—declaring His glory with words of praise and bringing down the authority of His throne through our worship. As we continue to praise Him and experience more of His mighty works, our hearts are drawn into deeper humility and obedience before Him. And before others, we will all the more gladly lift up unceasing praise, proclaiming His greatness and testifying to His wondrous deeds.

Day 16 Psalm 119:105-108

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules.
107 I am severely afflicted; give me life, O Lord, according to your word!
108 Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O Lord, and teach me your rules.

Reflection: Our God is the One who created the heavens and the earth by His word, and who upholds all things by His powerful command. Without His word, we would surely be lost and fall into ruin. How amazing is His grace—that through the great salvation accomplished by the cross, we have come to know this God who speaks! May our hearts long for His word at the beginning of each new day. As we lift up praise to Him, may we also receive His instruction and delight in His statutes. Above all, may His powerful word truly become the lamp to our feet and the light to our path, guiding every step we take on the gracious road that leads toward eternal life.

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 129

Day 10 Psalm 40:1-5

1 I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!
5 You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.

Reflection: Our God hears our prayers and transforms our lives. He lifts us out of the “pit of destruction” and the “miry bog,” and sets our feet firmly upon the rock. He fills our mouths with a new song—a song of praise for His mighty works—so that those around us may see His grace, stand in awe, and turn to trust in the Lord. God’s work in us is not a one-time rescue; He continually reveals His wonders and His thoughts toward us—so many that they cannot be numbered. Let us praise Him for His marvelous deeds and learn to trust Him even as we wait, for He surely hears, and He surely acts with grace.

1 Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
...
9 for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

Reflection: Every day is a day to sing a new song to the Lord, for His mercies are new every morning. God’s grace was not only revealed in Israel but extends to all nations—He remembers His steadfast love and faithfulness so that even the ends of the earth may behold His salvation. His mighty works bring joy to all creation, and all the earth is called to shout for joy before Him. Ultimately, God will judge the world with righteousness and all peoples with equity. Day 8 Psalm 107:35-38, 43

35 He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water.
36 And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in;
37 they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield.
38 By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish.
...
43 Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

Reflection: Let us praise the Lord for His marvelous works. He turns the desolate places of our hearts into springs of living water. He transforms despair into hope, barrenness into fruitfulness, and lack into abundance. His gracious hand is always at work, even in ways unseen. May the Lord grant us wisdom to pay attention to His deeds, for when we do, we will surely discover that His steadfast love never ceases and His blessings continue to flow.

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 126
Amo. 1-2

Day 7 Psalm 105:7-8, 43-45

7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,
...
43 So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing.
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil,
45 that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the Lord!

Reflection: Our God is the One who keeps covenant and shows steadfast love. He personally intervenes in history to bring salvation—delivering His people from slavery and suffering, and granting His chosen ones an inheritance. His works reveal His faithfulness and grace, and they also reveal His will: God’s actions are not only for our blessing but ultimately for His glory. As we look back and remember all that God has done in our lives, may we join the psalmist in declaring: “Praise the Lord!”

Annual Bible Reading Plan:
Ps. 125

Day 6 Psalm 8:1-5

1 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

Reflection: The glorious nature of God and His wondrous works truly amaze us—His glory is set above the heavens, yet He gains strength from the mouths of infants; He is the Creator of the universe, yet He bends down to care for fragile humans, as small as dust. Today, as we meditate on who God is—His glory, His love, and His tender care—may our hearts join the psalmist in awe and worship: “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”

16 With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come;
I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.

18 So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me,

Reflection: We praise God not only because He is full of grace and compassion, but also because He is righteous. He gave His beloved Son as our substitute, defeated and judged all our enemies, and will vindicate us for every injustice we have suffered. Yes — because of Your salvation, we are counted righteous; and because of Your faithfulness, we live by faith.

Psalm 44:4-8
4 O God, You are my King; give salvation to Jacob!
5 Through You we push back our enemies; through Your name we trample those who rise up against us.
6 For not in my bow do I trust, nor does my sword bring me victory.
7 But You have saved us from our enemies and put to shame those who hate us.
8 In God we boast all day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. (Selah)

Reflection:
Dear brothers and sisters, are you facing battles on your spiritual journey? Remember, these battles are not ours—they belong to God Himself. He will lead us forward and give us victory as we rely on Him. For this reason, let us give thanks for the opportunity to fight and win through Him, and pray: “O God, You are my King! Please give me (us) victory!”

6 因為,我必不靠我的弓;

1 Corinthians 15:54-58
54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Reflection:
Thank you Lord for swallowing up death in victory! Thank you for giving us this victory through Christ, and providing it to us freely through the cross. Let us be steadfast, immovable, and encouraged in our work and ministry, recognizing that in the Lord our labor is not in vain! God will continue to work through us and will bring the full measure of His victory to the world and to us.

1 John 5:12–15
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

Reflection:
Thank the Lord! He has given us the key to answer prayer—“if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” What amazing grace this is! The Lord, who created the heavens and the earth, not only gives us eternal life and the life of His Son but also delights to reveal His will to us. Today, let us give thanks for His will, for when we pray according to His will, we can be confident that we will receive what we ask from Him!

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19 God, the Lord, is my strength; He makes my feet like the deer’s; He makes me tread on my high places.
Reflection:
Since true joy and strength come from the Lord, we must not hand over the keys of our joy and strength to circumstances—whether favorable or difficult—lest our emotions swing like a pendulum: joyful on one side, despondent on the other, and collapsing when still. But when we entrust those keys to the Lord our God, we can rejoice even in adversity and find strength even in the valley. For He makes our feet like the deer’s and enables us to walk securely on the heights.

Reflection:
This is not a demand of the law, but an invitation of love in Christ! Worry often makes us focus on how great the storm around us is, but faith invites us to see how great Jesus is within us. Romans 8:26–30
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Reflection:
Today, let us give thanks even for the challenges and hardships we are facing! Because:
(1) The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness;
(2) The Holy Spirit Himself is interceding for us;
(3) All things work together for good to make us more like Jesus and lead us to glory.
Every circumstance we encounter has been carefully measured and allowed by God. We may not yet understand His purpose in the process, but as Joseph said, “But God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20). Do not be afraid—only believe!

25 At that time Jesus said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Reflection:
Have you ever experienced moments when the “winds and waves are against you” and “rowing is exhausting,” leaving you unable to give thanks or move forward? In such times of difficulty, you are invited to follow Christ’s example: lift your eyes to the Father, enter His presence, receive His comfort, and understand His gracious will. Reflection:
The Lord is our inheritance, and we are the Lord’s inheritance—what an honor and precious blessing! Because of this love and grace, even when we experience the trials of the wilderness or the terror of roaring beasts, we need not fear. Reflection:
God’s blessings are endless. His forgiveness, healing, salvation, provision, and renewal are all expressions of His love and gifts. We must not neglect His blessings simply because they are in the past, because we have received them, or because we are busy. Nor should we shift our reliance from God to ourselves, falling into temptation. From our personal lives to our families, from fellowships to the church, we should together recount all the blessings the Lord has given.

2025 Thanksgiving Month
Day 13

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
1 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

Reflection:
Pray for God’s deliverance from wicked and evil men, and from the schemes of the evil one. We all face the reality and danger of evil working against us, but we have confidence in the Lord’s faithfulness to us. Ask that God would direct your heart to His unfailing love and steadfast nature.

Day 12

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter. 16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

Reflection:
Just as Paul gave thanks for the church in Thessalonica, we also should give thanks that God choose us as the fruitfruits to be saved. We are saved through the gospel, sanctified by the Spirit and by belief in the truth, with the goal that we may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ! To remain faithful to the gospel we have been called to, we must stand firm and hold to the traditions that have been taught to us. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father comfort and bless you today in all you do and say!

2025 Thanksgiving Month
Day 11

Ephesians 1:3-7
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. 5 In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

Reflection:
Let us give thanks to the Lord “in Christ”! It is He who, “in Christ,” chose us, bestowed upon us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, and enabled us to receive this glorious and abundant grace freely. Such immense grace was predestined even before the foundation of the world—aren’t we all “born with a golden spoon”? Hallelujah!

2025 Thanksgiving Month
Day 10

Hebrews 2:1-4
1 Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. 2 For if the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, 4 while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Reflection:
In our daily practice of gratitude, do we truly grasp and give thanks for the “so great a salvation” that God has given us? Are we aware that taking it lightly, or even neglecting it, could cause us to “drift away” or fail to “escape sin”? May the Lord help us to constantly remember and hold fast to His magnificent salvation, living lives marked by thankfulness and trust in Him.

15 My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. 16 With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone. 17 O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. 18 So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. 19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?

Reflection:
From youth to old age, from morning to evening, may we continually declare the righteousness and steadfast love of God, and proclaim His wondrous works from generation to generation. For His righteousness is higher than the heavens, and His mighty deeds are beyond compare—O God, who is like You? Since my youth, I have received Your teaching and salvation; now, as my hair turns gray, may I not grow weak in strength nor lose sight of Your calling. O God, strengthen me to boldly testify of Your great power to all who will listen.

Day 7

Ephesians 2:4–7
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Reflection: The immeasurable riches of Christ’s grace are revealed in this: God’s love took the initiative to act upon us who were dead in sin, raising us up together with Christ Jesus. The turning point from death to life is found in God’s rich mercy and His great love for us. On the cross, He personally broke the chains of death through His love and grace. We are now living witnesses of Christ to this generation—proclaiming the glory of His grace, His mercy, and His steadfast love.

Day 6

Deuteronomy 10:17–21
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.18 He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.19 Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.20 You shall fear the Lord your God. You shall serve him and hold fast to him, and by his name you shall swear.21 He is your praise. He is your God, who has done for you these great and terrifying things that your eyes have seen.

Reflection:
What a profound reminder—do we truly know what kind of God our Lord is? The more we know Him, the more we will fear Him; the more we experience Him, the more we will give thanks to Him. For God’s power and justice inspire reverent fear, while His love and mercy stir our hearts to gratitude. “Reverence and thanksgiving” are the roots of serving and clinging to Him, and “loving the sojourner” is the fruit that naturally flows from a life devoted to Him.
