1 Peter 1:13-16
13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Reflection: Another reason we give thanks to God is that He has given to us grace through the revelation of Jesus Christ, a firm and sufficient foundation for our hope. Thank God that He is Holy! Because God is Holy, we are also called to be holy in all that we say and do.

13 所以要約束你們的心，謹慎自守，專心盼望耶穌基督顯現的時候所帶來給你們的恩。14 你們既作順命的兒女，就不要效法從前蒙昧無知的時候那放縱私慾的樣子。15 那召你們的既是聖潔，你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔。16 因經上記著說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」

心得分享：我們感謝 神的另一個原因，是因祂藉著耶穌基督的顯現，把恩典賜給我們，使我們的盼望有了堅固而充足的根基。感謝 神，因祂是聖潔的！也正因為 神是聖潔的，祂呼召我們在言語與行為上都要聖潔，活出與祂屬性相稱的生命。
