Day 18

Matthew 11:25-28
25 At that time Jesus said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Reflection:
Have you ever experienced moments when the “winds and waves are against you” and “rowing is exhausting,” leaving you unable to give thanks or move forward? In such times of difficulty, you are invited to follow Christ’s example: lift your eyes to the Father, enter His presence, receive His comfort, and understand His gracious will. In doing so, we can find rest, lay down our burdens, and rise again with hearts full of gratitude, ready to move forward!

25 那時，耶穌說：父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。 26 父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。 27 一切所有的，都是我父交付我的。除了父，沒有人知道子；除了子和子所願意指示的，沒有人知道父。 28 凡勞苦擔重擔的人，可以到我這裡來，我就使你們得安息。

心得分享：你是否曾遇到「風浪不順」、「搖櫓甚苦」的時刻，以至於感到無力感恩、無法前行？在這樣的困境中，邀請你效法基督，抬頭仰望天父，進入祂的同在，領受祂的安慰，明白祂的美意。藉此，我們就可以得著安息，卸下重擔，重新起來感恩和往前了！
