1 Corinthians 9:24-27

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

24 豈不知在場上賽跑的都跑，但得獎賞的只有一人？你們也當這樣跑，好叫你們得著獎賞。 25 凡較力爭勝的，諸事都有節制。他們不過是要得能壞的冠冕，我們卻是要得不能壞的冠冕。 26 所以，我奔跑不像無定向的，我鬥拳不像打空氣的。 27 我是攻克己身，叫身服我，恐怕我傳福音給別人，自己反被棄絕了。
