Daily Scripture - May 19

John 16:12-16
(Memorization Scripture 13-14)

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He [c]will take of Mine and declare it to you.16 “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”

Father, once again, we thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit. We especially thank you for the Holy Spirit's dwelling in us. Because He dwells in us, we have experienced what Jesus says, "when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." Yes, there are so many divine things that we do not understand, even you said over and over. Sometimes we thought we understood, yet we actually don't. We pray for ourselves and our families that the Holy Spirit, who is also the Spirit of truth, will continuously and actively work in us, convict us of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; furthermore, guide us into all truth, make us understand it and live out the spiritual reality of the truth. When the truth is in our lives, there will be no more darkness but liberty in light. Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ is the truth and the light. May we all live a life glorifying our Savior, Jesus Christ, because of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray.

12 「我還有好些事要告訴你們，但你們現在擔當不了。 <b>13 只等真理的聖靈來了，他要引導你們明白[b]一切的真理，因為他不是憑自己說的，乃是把他所聽見的都說出來，並要把將來的事告訴你們。 14 他要榮耀我，因為他要將受於我的告訴你們。</b> 15 凡父所有的，都是我的，所以我說，他要將受於我的告訴你們。 16 等不多時，你們就不得見我；再等不多時，你們還要見我。」

天父， 我們再一次感謝袮賜給我們聖靈。我們尤其感謝這位聖靈住在我們的裡面。因為祂住在我們裡面，我們體會了什麼是耶穌說的 “祂既來了，就要叫世人為罪、為義、為審判，自己責備自己。” 是的，有太多神聖的事我們不明白，即使袮的話一而再再而三的告訴我們，我們以為我們懂了，其實還是不明白。今天我們為我們自己和我們的家禱告，求這位真理的聖靈繼續而且活潑的工作在我們裡面，叫我們為罪、為義、為審判，自己責備自己；而且，還要帶領我們進入一切的真理，不僅明白，而且能活出真理的實際。當真理在我們的生活中，黑暗就要被除掉，而且使我們在光中得自由。讚美主，耶穌基督就是真理，就是真光。 幫助我們的生活因著聖靈而榮耀我們的救主耶穌基督。奉耶穌的名禱告。
