1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

1「你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛，使我們得稱為 神的兒女；我們也真是祂的兒女。世人所以不認識我們，是因未曾認識祂。 2 親愛的弟兄啊，我們現在是 神的兒女，將來如何，還未顯明；但我們知道，主若顯現，我們必要像祂，因為必得見祂的真體。 3 凡向祂有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像祂潔淨一樣。
