"40 Days Prayer for building of the church"
Day 8：
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Let's pray together:
Lord Jesus, we pray for our companions who are currently experiencing bodily weakness and various difficulties, asking for Your strength to not lose heart. Although the challenges are very real, Your love surpasses all our experiences! We pray that You enlighten us to help us see that You are in control, and let us see it is so that we may partake in Your surpassing and eternal glory.
Make us more like You! With this faith and hope, we can overlook the present sufferings, and still sing praise in the darkness!
Praying in the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

16 所以，我們不喪膽。外體雖然毀壞，內心卻一天新似一天。 17 我們這至暫至輕的苦楚，要為我們成就極重無比、永遠的榮耀。 18 原來我們不是顧念所見的，乃是顧念所不見的；因為所見的是暫時的，所不見的是永遠的。

我們一起禱告：
主耶穌啊，我們為著正處於身體軟弱及各樣難處中的同伴禱告，求祢使我們不喪膽。雖然難處如此真實，但祢的愛遠大過我們一切的遭遇! 求祢開啟我們，讓我們看見祢正在掌權，並要使我們得著那極重無比、永遠的榮耀---使我們更像祢! 因著這樣的信心和盼望，我們都能輕看現在的苦楚、並且在黑暗中仍能歌唱讚美!
禱告奉主耶穌基督的聖名。阿門!
