Psalms 48:1-8

1 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised
In the city of our God,
In His holy mountain.
2 Beautiful in elevation,
The joy of the whole earth,
Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north,
The city of the great King.
3 God is in her palaces;
He is known as her refuge.
4 For behold, the kings assembled,
They passed by together.
5 They saw it, and so they marveled;
They were troubled, they hastened away.
6 Fear took hold of them there,
And pain, as of a woman in birth pangs,
7 As when You break the ships of Tarshish
With an east wind.
8 As we have heard,
So we have seen
In the city of the Lord of hosts,
In the city of our God:
God will establish it forever. Selah.

1 耶和華本為大，在我們 神的城中，在祂的聖山上，該受大讚美！
2 錫安山，大君王的城，在北面居高華美，為全地所喜悅。
3 神在其宮中自顯為避難所。
4 看哪，眾王會合，一同經過。
5 他們見了這城，就驚奇喪膽，急忙逃跑。
6 他們在那裡被戰兢疼痛抓住，好像產難的婦人一樣。
7 神啊，你用東風打破他施的船隻。
8 我們在萬軍之耶和華的城中，就是我們 神的城中，所看見的正如我們所聽見的：神必堅立這城，直到永遠。（細拉）
