Thanksgiving Month Introduction...

Psalm 136:1-9

1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!For His mercy endures forever. 2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. 3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:4 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever; 5 To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever; 6 To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever; 7 To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever—8 The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever; 9 The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.

【Reflection】Let us all take some time to be still in the presence of the Lord, and with a prayerful heart, read aloud these grateful scriptures. Let's recite them repeatedly until these words, through the Holy Spirit, ignite within us a deep gratitude towards God and let that gratitude overflow within us! These passages proclaim the Lord as the God of gods, the Lord of lords; they mention God's goodness, His marvelous deeds, His wisdom; they ignite our thoughts with His power, His designs, His providence... The central message is for us to give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever! As we enter this month of thanksgiving, let us pray that the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, anoint our eyes, so that we may see (Revelation 3:18) - see that everything and everyone may change, but God remains unchanging, and His steadfast love endures forever. And because of such vision, may we all worship God as God and give Him the gratitude and praise that He deserves.

6 稱謝那鋪地在水以上的，因他的慈愛永遠長存！

【心得分享】讓我們都花點兒時間安靜在主面前，以禱告的心開口讀出這些感恩的經文，並且反复誦讀，直到這些話語藉著聖靈讓我們從心中生發對 神的感恩，並讓感恩之情在我們裡面滿溢！這幾節經文稱耶和華為萬 神之 神，萬主之主；提到 神的善、神的獨行大奇事、神的智慧；讓人思想祂的能力、祂的設計、祂的周全...。中心就是要我們稱謝耶和華，因祂的慈愛永遠長存! 在邁入今年感恩月的起始，禱告主以聖靈為眼藥擦我們的眼睛，讓我們能看見（啟3:18）—看到萬事萬物都會改變，唯有 神永不改變，且祂的慈愛永遠長存。也因為這樣的看見，讓我們都能把 神當作 神，把祂配得的感謝與讚美都歸給祂。

2 Corinthians 3:2-6

2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Jeremiah 31:3-5

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;

4 Again I will build you, O virgin of Israel!
You shall again be adorned with your tambourines,

5 You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria;
