Daily Scripture - May 17

John 14：14-20

(Memorization Scripture 16-17)

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

"If you love me, keep my commandments." We often use "someone loves Jesus" to describe others or selves. If does God know that someone loves Him? Jesus told us that He knows because this person keeps His commandments. Let's all love Jesus to respond to His love for us. Not only Jesus is God incarnate, died, and resurrected for our sake but also gave us another Comforter, the Spirit of truth, to abide with us and in us forever.  Praise the Lord,  Jesus lives, we will live also, we are in Him, and He is in us as through the Holy Spirit.

約14:16-20

14 你們若奉我名求告什麼，我必成就。 15 你們若愛我，就必遵守我的命令。16 「我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師，叫他永遠與你們同在， 17 就是真理的聖靈，乃世人不能接受的，因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裡面。 18 我不撇下你們為孤兒，我必到你們這裡來。 19 還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我，你們卻看見我，因為我活著，你們也要活著。 20 到那日，你們就知道我在父裡面，你們在我裡面，我也在你們裡面。

耶穌說，"你們若愛我，就必遵守我的命令。"  我們常常用“某某人愛耶穌”來形容別人或自己。若有人愛神，這人乃是神所知道的。神怎麼知道呢？耶穌告訴我們祂知道因為這個人遵守祂的命令。讓我們都來回應神的愛，一起來愛耶穌。不僅神道成肉身成為人的樣式，為我們死又復活，而且還給我們另外一位保惠師，就是真理的聖靈，永遠與我們同在並且住在我們裡面。讚美主，祂活著，我們也要活著，我們在祂裡面，  藉著聖靈， 祂也在我們裡面。
